Carpenter Job

Diamond Carpet Centre Ltd. is looking for one carpenter for their business located at 7750 128 Street Surrey, British Columbia, V3W 4E6. This is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Carpenter, you will be performing the following duties:

-Review and analyze blueprints, and sketches to identify requirements and estimate materials needed.
-Install, repair, and maintain wooden flooring, including hardwood, engineered wood, and laminate.
-Measure, cut, and install wooden planks with precision to ensure flawless fitting and alignment.
-Prepare subfloors for installation, ensuring proper leveling and cleaning.
-Sand, stain, and finish wooden floors to meet aesthetic and durability standards.
-Assist with the layout and design of flooring patterns, ensuring they align with client preferences and architectural features of the space.
-Operate efficiently while maintaining adherence to safety protocols.
-Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to customer satisfaction.
-Complete any additional tasks as delegated.

Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school is required
-2-3 years of experience is required
-English as a language is required

What we Offer:
-$35.00 per hour
-4acation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
-Term of Employment : Permanent, Full-time position
