Carpenter Job

Buttar Drywall Ltd. is looking for two carpenters to fill the position for their business located at 13428 105 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3T 0S6. This position is full time with 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week.

As a Carpenter, you will be performing the following job duties:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Do wooden framing in buildings so drywall installer can apply drywall to walls or ceilings and sand areas after each coating
Make wooden drawers and cupboards where needed
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood
Construct, repair, and install wooden frames for new home projects or commercial projects
Use measuring tools to ensure precise cutting and shaping
Work efficiently while adhering to all safety standards
Do all other activities as assigned

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary education is required.
3-4 years of work experience is required.
Basic English is required.
Location of work - Various Locations in Lower Mainland

What we offer:
$35.00 per hour
4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position
Part timer will be considered as well
