Job Description:
Edge Line Drywall Systems Ltd. is looking for one carpenter for their location at #101 15505 54A ave, Surrey BC, V3S 5X5. This will be full time/permanent position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours in a week.
As a Carpenter, you will be performing the following job duties:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements for steel stud framing.
Assembling and Installing metal stud framing.
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to install steel stud framing.
Attaching metal frames with preconfigured horizontal and vertical wallboards.
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
Inspecting the quality of the procured metal stud framers if needed.
Preparing small openings into the metal frames with drilling tools to make space for electric lines and outlets.
What we offer:
$35 per hour
4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position
