Carpenter Job

Civic Drywall Ltd is looking for one carpenter for their business located at 6971 144 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 5R8. This position is full-time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Carpenter, you will be performing the following job duties:

-Review and analyze blueprints, diagrams, and sketches to identify requirements and estimate materials needed.
-Craft wooden drawers and cabinets as necessary.
-Utilize precise measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembly techniques for wood materials.
-Build, fix, and set up wooden frameworks for various construction projects, both residential and commercial.
-Perform wooden framing in buildings to prepare for drywall installation, ensuring surfaces are smoothed between coatings.
-Employ measuring instruments to guarantee accuracy in cutting and shaping.
-Operate efficiently while maintaining adherence to safety protocols.
-Complete any additional tasks as delegated.

Job meeting Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school is required
-3-4 years of work experience is required
-Basic English is required

What we offer:
-$30.00 per hour
-4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
-Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time Position
