Carpenter Job

Geo Pallet Ltd. located in Surrey; BC requires Carpenter with minimum high school. Applicant should also have diploma/degree in related field or 2 years to less than 3 years of experience. The pay will be $34.75 per hour. This is a full-time position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week.

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Supervise construction workers and pallet makers.
• Build foundations, floor beams and roof systems.
• Fit and install trim items at work place to fit the requirement.
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in establishments.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to provided codes, using measuring tools.
• Prepare cost estimates for clients.
