Carpenter
YOUR ROLES WILL INCLUDE:
• Responsible for construction of our projects to a high-quality standard
• Maintain professional safety and behaviour standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
• Determine specifications and estimate required materials and costs
• Rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall, appliance installation, fixture and hardware installation, door and window framing and installation, shower installations
• Perform quality control inspections
• Supervise helpers and provide training as needed
• A basic understanding of plumbing, electrical and HVAC rough-ins; tiling, hardwood and siding installations
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• 3+ years’ experience
• Completion of secondary school
• Ability to read and build from blueprints and drawings
• Ability to work individually with a minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Able to handle heavy loads
• Highly organized and able to multi-task
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Work is physically demanding and involves frequent bending, crouching, kneeling
• Some work activities will occur after normal business hours i.e. evenings and weekends

POSITION TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time - 30 hours per week
Salary - $36.00 hourly
Incremental raises available based on performance
