Job Description:
Elegance Finishing Ltd. is looking for Carpenter Lead Hand in Leduc County, AB
Responsibilities include:
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood & wood substitutes
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Measure, cut, and install baseboards and trim.
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools, such as table saws, drills, and nail guns.
• Perform hardware installations depending on the project stage.
• Instruct apprentices
• Supervise other workers
Supervision
• 3 – 4 People
Educational requirement: High School
Related experience: 3 - 5 Years Experience
Wage offered: $36.00 per hour for 30 – 40 hours/week, Permanent, Full Time.
Benefits: Blue Cross Benefits after 3 month probation period.
