• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and measurements to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Construct and install framing, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, stairs and other wooden structures.
• Install interior and exterior woodwork, including trim, mouldings, cabinets, siding and other fixtures.
• Repair, renovate and replace damaged or worn wooden structures and components.
• Maintain tools and equipment, keep the work area safe and organized, and follow applicable building and workplace safety requirements.
Education: Completion of secondary school
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in carpentry is required
Work site environment: At heights, dusty, noisy
