is in need of Carpenter Labourer

Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
2. Assist in installing air/vapor membrane to wall surfaces using rollers and applicators.
3. Measure, cut and install z-bar sub-girts using hand and power tools to wall surfaces.
4. Install, repair and service exterior prefabricated products such as siding and panels using hand and power tools.
5. Load and unload construction material to and from site.
6. Assist in constructing and assembling layers of roofing from insulation to all types of flat roofing membranes (Including TPO, EPDM, SBS, PVC).
7. Assist in working on new install, replacement of previously installed/damage, and repair of asphalt and TPO roofing systems.
8. Help in installing sheet metal flashings.
9. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with company standards and industry regulation.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 44 hours/week, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Work shift or depending on timeframe of the job, 2 varied days off
Wage: $25.00/hour

Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Some secondary education is required.
2. Work Experience: At least 7 months carpentry experience is required.
3. Must be able to lift at least 50-100 lbs.
4. Obey all on-site and company safety requirements in accordance with OH&S Act and Regulations
5. Participate in the company safety culture by attending tail gate meetings and other such activities as required
6. Must not be afraid of heights and ability to work at height for long hours
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as an essential part of a team
