Position: Carpenter Helper
Salary: $28.39 per hour
No of positions: 2
Type of employment: Full-Time, Permanent
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Unit 25, 8 Melanie Drive, Brampton, ON and Various other job sites in Toronto region in Ontario as per customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist carpenters and help them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities.
• Load and unload wooden materials and move materials to work areas.
• Sand wooden surfaces and polish/strain finished products as instructed by Carpenter.
• Assist in measuring and cutting wood, wood substitute, light steel and other materials.
• Assist in repair of cabinets and kitchens in residences and other commercial establishments.
• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Perform other activities as directed.

Job Requirements:

• No experience required. On-the-job training will be provided if required.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
