Tasks:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications to ensure the accurate customization and installation of cabinets according to client needs.
- Customizing pre-manufactured cabinet components on-site by making necessary adjustments, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials to fit unique project specifications and space requirements.
- Accurately installing cabinetry at client locations, including measuring, leveling, and securely fitting cabinets to walls, floors, and other surfaces, ensuring alignment and a perfect fit.
- Utilizing various carpentry tools and equipment, including saws, drills, chisels, and precision measuring instruments, to carry out tasks such as cutting, trimming, and fitting cabinet pieces on-site.
- Working with a variety of materials, including wood, laminate, and metal fixtures, to customize and install cabinets that meet the high quality
standards set by Matrix Cabinets.
- Installing additional components such as hinges, handles, and other hardware, ensuring proper functionality and aesthetic alignment with the overall design.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, designers, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth communication and successful project execution, addressing any on-site challenges or changes in design.
- Maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye protection, and steel-toed boots, to minimize on-site risks.
- Ensuring that all cabinetry installations are aligned with building codes and industry standards, meeting both safety and quality requirements.
- Conducting post-installation inspections and quality checks to ensure that the cabinetry is securely installed and free of defects, addressing any necessary adjustments before completing the project.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment both during and after installation, ensuring that client sites are left in a professional and tidy condition.
- Providing ongoing maintenance or adjustments to installed cabinets as required, ensuring long term customer satisfaction and the durability of the products.
- Troubleshooting any installation issues that may arise, including minor repairs, adjustments, or modifications to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to design specifications
