Job Description:
NEHAL CONSTRUCTION LTD.DBA NEHAL HOMES CONSTRUCTION LTD., located at 1345 PLUM LINK SW EDMONTON, Alberta T6X 2Y5 is looking to hire full-time Carpenter for their company.
Number of Openings: 1
Wage: $30.00/hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Job Duties:
1. Examine and decipher blueprints, drawings, and sketches to ascertain requirements and specifications.
2. Use measurement equipment to prepare plans in compliance with construction codes.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials consisting of lightweight steel, wood replacements, and other materials.
3. Lay subflooring, install floor beams, build foundations, and erect wall and roof systems.
4. Install and fit trim pieces, including hardware, doors, stairs, and molding.
5. Care for and renovate homes and wooden buildings in mines, mills, hospitals, factories, and other businesses.
6. May give clients cost estimates; oversee apprentices and other construction workers.
Job requirements:
1. Completion of senior secondary is required.
2. Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or four years of relevant work experience is required.
