Kobby’s landscaping is a family-owned company serving Edmonton and surrounding areas. We are highly trained skilled professionals working hard to ensure both work quality and highest safety standards are met. We need two (2) Carpenters who can join our team immediately.
Wages:
$30.00 per hour for 30 - 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment:
Permanent; Full-Time

Secondary school graduation certificate
Experience:
Minimum of three years
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Large workload; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Physically demanding; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Handling heavy loads.

Job Duties:
• Constructing decks, pergolas, gazebos, fences, retaining walls, and other wooded structures to enhance outdoor spaces.
• Crafting custom outdoor furniture, benches, planters, and other wooden items based on clients’ specifications.
• Performing repairs and maintenance on existing outdoor structures and features, such as fixing loose boards, replacing damaged components, and refinishing surfaces.
• Installing features like outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and water features which may involve carpentry work for framing ang finishing.
• Reviewing and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and design plans to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Selecting appropriate lumber and other materials for each project based on durability, aesthetics, and budget considerations.
• Accurately measuring and cutting lumber and other materials to the required dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Applying stains, paints, sealants, and other finishes to protect and enhance the appearance of wooded structures and features.
• Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
