Carpenter Job

Belva Constructions Ltd. located at 4763 46 St Drayton Valley AB T7A 1H5 has immediate vacancy of 1 Carpenter. Position is Full Time, Permanent, $36/hour. Applicant should have completed Secondary (high) school certificate. Must be able to work at heights, noisy and dusty environment. Must be able to handle heavy loads. Must have at least 1 year of related experience. Language of work will be English.
Job duties involve: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements, Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials, Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, Survey building locations and levels, Estimate costs and materials, Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
