Carpenter Job

Golden Future Construction Ltd. is looking for one Carpenter for their business located at 7496 118A Street, Delta, British Columbia, V4C 6K1. This is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Carpenter, you will be performing the following job duties:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Make wooden drawers and cupboards where needed.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood.
- Construct, repair, and install wooden frames for new home projects or commercial projects.
- Do wooden framing in buildings so drywall installer can apply drywall to walls or ceilings and sand areas after each coating.
- Use measuring tools to ensure precise cutting and shaping.
- Work efficiently while adhering to all safety standards.
- Do all other activities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

- Completion of secondary school is required.
- 2-3 years of experience required.
- English as a Language skill is required.
- Trade certification for carpenters is not mandatory but will be an asset.

What we offer:

- $37.00 per hour.
- 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
- Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position.
- Location of Work – Various locations all over Lower mainland.
