Experience: Work experience as carpenters for 1 year or more required
Tasks/ Job duties: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials, Prepare tenders and quotations, Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, Estimate costs and materials, Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Type of industry experience: Furniture and fixtures manufacturing company
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Work with minimal supervision
