-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction layouts to determine project requirements
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials
-Perform structural framing, reconstruction, and restoration work for commercial construction projects
-Repair and replace damaged wood structures, framing, supports, and exterior components
-Construct, install, and dismantle temporary structures, supports, and formwork systems as required
-Prepare surfaces and structures for waterproofing, cladding, insulation, and finishing applications
-Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
-Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Building Code and workplace health and safety regulations
-Work at heights and in varying outdoor weather conditions
-Coordinate with construction crews and other trades to complete projects within scheduled timelines

-Completion of secondary school is required
-Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience is required
-Trade certification in carpentry is considered an asset
-Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as required
-Physically capable of performing demanding tasks in various weather conditions
-Comfortable working at heights when required
