Job Description:
Responsibilities and Duties
• Supervise and care for children in the absence of parents
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
• Change diapers and follow toilet training as directed by parents
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Organize and engage in educational and recreational activities (e.g., games, outings)
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean environment in the home
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children
• Discipline children as per parental guidance
• Keep records of daily activities and children’s health information
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and ironing related to child care

Experience and Education
• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in child care or a related field (within the past 3 years)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Childcare-related training or certification (e.g., First Aid/CPR) is an asset
Language
• English (speaking, reading, and understanding)
Experience and Specialization
• Target audience: Infants and children
• Previous experience changing diapers, bottle-feeding, and assisting with toilet training
• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in child care or a related field (within the past 3 years)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
