ABOUT US:
Alliance Specialty Care Centres is a multi-specialty medical clinic providing specialist consultations and diagnostic testing in Toronto. Our services include cardiology, neurology and internal medicine, as well as cardiac and other diagnostic testing. We are committed to providing timely specialist care and making the referral and follow-up process easier for patients and referring physicians.
We are currently looking for a Cardiologist to join our team and provide specialist cardiac care to our patients, including consultations, assessment, diagnosis and appropriate follow-up care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Examine patients, review medical histories and assess symptoms related to cardiovascular health.
• Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests and other cardiac investigations.
• Prescribe medications and provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up care.
• Refer patients for additional procedures, surgery or specialist care when required.
• Consult and collaborate with family physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Participate in clinical research and review medical data related to cardiovascular care, when required.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Graduation from an approved medical school
• Specific Cardiology training
• 4 to 5 years of cardiology residency
• Completion of the certifying examinations of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Must be licenced by the Ontario licensing authority
• Must be professional, empathetic, and possess strong communication and collaborative skills
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
• Permanent, full-time position
• Annual wage is $ 296,000 for a minimum of 35 hours of work per week
• Location of work: 1881 Steeles Avenue West, Suite 204A, Toronto, Ontario M3H 5Y4
