Job Description:
Big Bucket Car Wash
Position: Car wash Manager
Wage: $ 35.00 to 40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per Week
Job Duties:
1. Direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the self-service and automatic car wash facility, exercising primary on-site managerial authority when the owner is not present, including responding to equipment failures, staffing issues, emergencies, and unexpected operational disruptions.
2. Monitor and evaluate staffing levels, service quality, equipment performance, sales, and operating results; identify operational deficiencies and implement appropriate measures to maintain efficient and consistent business operations.
3. Plan and organize daily operations, including employee scheduling and work assignments, and coordinate the servicing, maintenance, and repair of wash systems, self-service bays, vacuums, payment systems, and other facility equipment.
4. Establish and implement operating policies and procedures relating to customer service, facility operations, equipment use, and workplace health and safety, and monitor compliance with established standards.
5. Plan and control operating inventory and expenditures, including determining supply requirements, monitoring purchases and operating costs, and overseeing cash-handling and daily financial reconciliation procedures.
6. Coordinate with the owner on local marketing and customer-acquisition initiatives as directed, including liaising with local advertising vendors when engaged.
7. Hire, train, schedule, and supervise employees by identifying staffing needs, participating in candidate selection, assigning duties, providing training, and evaluating employee performance. Final hiring decisions are confirmed with the owner, while day-to-day staffing, scheduling, and supervision are managed by the Manager.
8. Respond to customer complaints and operational concerns, resolve escalated service issues, determine appropriate service-recovery measures, and implement corrective actions to maintain customer satisfaction and protect the business's reputation.

Requirements:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• At least two years of relevant management or supervisory experience in a car wash, automotive service, retail, or customer-service environment. Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, along with the ability to work independently, are preferred.
