Café Team Member / Cashier Job

Job Summary

As part of our office expansion, we are opening a small employee café and refreshment area. We are looking for entry-level Café Team Members and Cashiers to help provide quick meals, snacks, beverages, and friendly service to employees and authorized visitors.

Previous restaurant or cashier experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide friendly service
Take food and beverage orders
Operate the point-of-sale/register system
Accept approved forms of payment
Prepare and package simple menu items
Restock beverages, snacks, utensils, and supplies
Keep counters, tables, and food-service areas clean
Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
Assist other café team members during busy periods
Qualifications
No college degree required
Previous cashier or food-service experience is not required
Basic communication and customer-service skills
Ability to learn a simple POS/register system
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable standing during scheduled shifts
Willingness to learn food-handling and sanitation procedures
