Conditions
? Position: Cafe Manager (NOC 60030)
? Status: Full-Time, Permanent position
? Wage: $37.18 per hour
? Working hours: 30 hours per week
? Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
? Vacation: 10 days paid vacation

Requirements
? Completion of a university degree
? Experience: 4 years or more of experience in the food and beverage service sector, including managerial experience are required

Job Duties
• Strategic Leadership & Business Management:
o Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets, profitability goals, and operational efficiency.
o Manage the operations of the café, including labor costs, inventory, and operating expenses.
o Identify and pursue local marketing and community engagement opportunities to grow the customer base.
• Team Leadership & Development:
o Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for all store staff.
o Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and performance management to develop a high-performing team.
o Cultivate a strong, positive, and inclusive store culture that aligns with Paragon Tea Room's values.
o Address and resolve employee relations issues effectively and in accordance with company policies.
• Customer Experience & Brand Representation:
o Act as a brand ambassador for Paragon Tea Room within the community.
o Handle escalated customer issues and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
o Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve service and offerings.
