BFP Engineering Solutions Inc., a professional engineering office located in Eastern Ontario, has been providing structural engineering services to Architects, Owners and Contractors in the Peterborough and the surrounding area as well as the GTA and abroad. We specialized in custom engineering designs for residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial buildings. BFP Engineering Solutions Inc. offers a full range of engineering services to assist with conception to completion with proficiency and competence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:
• Develop and prepare drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, and other data for residential, commercial, and agricultural applications.
• Collaborate with clients and other members of the engineering team to gather project information by telephone and email.
• Write technical reports.
• Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations.
• Create building information models (BIM), using computer software, to provide digital representations of physical and functional aspects of buildings and other engineering projects.
• Develop and prepare design sketches.
• Complete documentation packages and produce drawings set.
• Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data.

Key Requirements:
• Completion of 2-3 college diploma in drafting technology or in a related discipline.
• 6 months – 1 year experience will be an asset.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational and planning skills is essential; and
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Language: English
Salary: CAN $30.00/hour. Full-time permanent position at BFP Engineering Solutions Inc. located at 458 George St S Unit #1, Peterborough, ON K9J 3E3.
