CAD Technician/Drafter Job

· Work closely with a team of engineers and industrial designers.
· Liaise with the project team to implement necessary drafting requirements
· Measure pdf, dwg, or similar files using AutoCAD or Bluebeam Revu, and incorporate measurements onto internal tools, in order to generate project-specific bill of materials (BOMs)
· Exercise high degree of accuracy and minimize errors
· Adept at using Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
· Work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
· Create project specific 2D electrical and controls wiring (line) diagrams
· Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of limitations of each product family and ensure that all technical documentations produced compliant within these limitations
· Resolve customer complaints and establish corrective action plan
· Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Secondary school diploma. Post-secondary education is an asset
• Good English language skills (written and oral)
• Familiarity with workplace safety
• Computer and technology Knowledge: CAD, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• Full-time, permanent position consisting of 30-40 weekly work hours
• The remuneration will be set at CAD$31.25 per hour
• Occasional overtime may be required for meeting critical deadlines. Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week and will be remunerated at one and a half times the regular pay rate
