CAD Technician
Leeson Engineering Incorporated dba Leeson Engineering Inc., is looking for an experienced full-time CAD technician. Applicant should be able to work well in a team and have excellent communication skills.

Conditions:
• Position: Cad Technician (NOC 22212)
• Full-Time, permanent position, 30 hours/week (shifted schedule)
• Hourly Wage: $37.00/hour
• Vacation: 10 days paid vacation
• Position Available: 1
Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school
• A university degree or a college diploma in engineering design and drafting technology or in a related field OR Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program OR 1year of work experience in related position
• Knowledge of BC Building Code and Vancouver Building Bylaws will be an asset
• Applicants from other provinces will also be considered
• Language: English
Job Duties:
• Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data
• Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations
• Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets
• Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data
• Develop and prepare engineering drawings, plans, diagrams or layouts from sketches
