Cabling Installation Technician Job

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable Field Service Technician to perform cabling installation work for the BMO Cash Advance project.

Responsibilities

-Install and route cables according to project requirements.
-Perform basic cable termination and connection.
-Test and verify installed cabling.
-Troubleshoot basic cabling/connectivity issues.
-Follow site instructions and maintain proper documentation.
-Complete work independently at customer locations.

Requirements

-Experience with low-voltage cabling or structured cabling installation preferred.
-Familiarity with CAT5/CAT6 cabling and basic networking is a plus.
-Must have basic hand tools for cabling work.
-Reliable transportation and ability to travel to customer sites.
-Comfortable working independently and following installation instructions.
-Good communication and customer-service skills.

Basic Tools Required:

RJ45 crimping tool, punch-down tool, cable tester, wire stripper/cutter, screwdrivers, pliers, utility knife, tape measure, and basic cable-routing tools.
