Job Overview

ARE Telecommunications is hiring experienced Cable Installers for Comcast operations in Gadsden, AL.

This is a field-based role handling residential installs, service calls, and troubleshooting. We’re looking for technicians who can work independently, maintain quality, and keep up with a production-driven environment.

Responsibilities -
Perform residential installs, service calls, and trouble calls
Install and activate internet, TV, and phone services
Run, terminate, and troubleshoot coax lines
Diagnose and resolve signal and connectivity issues
Ensure clean, professional installations that meet Comcast standards
Maintain route completion, productivity, and on-time arrivals
Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch

Requirements (READ BEFORE APPLYING) -
? Cable/Comcast experience REQUIRED
? Ability to complete installs and trouble calls independently
? Must have your own vehicle and basic tools
? Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
? Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Techs who can run a full route start-to-finish
Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
Reliable, accountable, and consistent
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment

Preferred Experience -
Comcast system familiarity (routing, workflows, expectations)
Experience with signal meters and diagnostics
Fiber experience is a plus
