Cable Installation and Repair Helper
Deallight Security Ltd., located at 31760 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, BC V2T 1T9, is looking to hire a Cable Installation and Repair Helper. We are offering full-time, year-round work.
The right candidate will perform the following duties:
• Load, unload and move tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to the worksite
• Assist electricians in installing and repairing security alarm systems, CCTV/DVR systems, cable and telephone wiring, etc., and other activities at the job site.
• Hand over tools and supplies to an electrician as required.
• Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using power tools.
• Clean work areas
• Familiar with electrical general safety standards
• Ability to prior work and schedule tasks according to the job’s requirements
• Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirements:
• No specific education is required
• No experience is required but previous related experience is an asset; training will provided to the right candidate.
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
• Excellent organizational skills are a must. Ability to communicate in basic English
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without constant supervision.
We are offering $ 23.25/hr based on 40 hours per week.
