Job Description:
Cabinetmakers foreman/woman
YOUR ROLES WILL INCLUDE:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cabinetmakers and related workers by scheduling, training, and assigning duties
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities according to project priorities and plans
• Oversee on-site work and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
• Plan and requisition materials and supplies
• Prepare work schedules and monitor team performance
• Ensure compliance with on-site health and safety regulations
• Conduct quality control inspections
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports
• Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• 3+ years’ experience of custom cabinetmaking and woodworking machinery
• Experience with high-end cabinetry and finishes
• Completion of secondary school
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications, and estimate materials required for projects
• Strong problem solving and time management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Physically able to handle heavy loads
• Valid driver’s licence
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Work activities will require manual dexterity and standing for extended periods.
• Frequent travel to client sites in GTA
• Some work activities will occur after normal business hours i.e. morning, evenings and weekends.

POSITION TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week
Wage $41.25 (CAD) per hour
