Trained Wild Carpentry is seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinetmaker to join our team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, repairing, and finishing
custom cabinets and related wood products according to design specifications and project
requirements. This position requires strong woodworking skills, attention to detail, and the
ability to produce high-quality cabinetry while maintaining workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
? Interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and design specifications to determine materials,
measurements, and construction requirements for cabinetry and related wood products.
? Measure, mark, and prepare wood materials according to required dimensions and design
details.
? Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, jointers, mortisers, and shaping
equipment, along with hand tools, to cut, shape, and fabricate cabinet components.
? Assemble cabinet parts and sub-assemblies to produce finished cabinetry units using
adhesives, clamps, screws, and other fastening methods.
? Sand and prepare wooden surfaces and apply finishing materials such as veneers, stains,
or protective coatings to complete cabinetry products.
? Repair, refinish, or modify cabinets and related wooden fixtures as required.
? Estimate material quantities and assist in planning the materials required for cabinetry
projects.

? Secondary school completion is required.
? Completion of a cabinetmaking apprenticeship program or relevant work experience in
cabinetmaking or custom woodworking is an asset.
Working Conditions:
? Full-time, permanent position.
? Hours: 30 hours per week.
? Wage: $25.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay
? Location: Workshop and project locations throughout the Lower Mainland, British
Columbia.
