THE ROLE:
Reporting to our Cabinet and Millwork Department Head Candidates should be inspired by helping others with solving problems, enjoy working in a team atmosphere, and be responsible, motivated and above all professional
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead small teams on job sites, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain site protection and equipment standards.
• Cut and assemble cabinet and millwork components in shop.
• Install kitchen cabinets, vanities, and custom millwork on site.
• Read and follow shop drawings and installation plans.
• Use power and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and quality finishes.
• Ensuring all products that leave the shop are all up to CSA standards.
• Installing the material with the highest attention to detail.
• Coordinate onsite logistics to ensure schedules are met.
• Deliver high quality customer service to all clients.
• Organize materials in the shop to maximize efficiency amongst the team.
• Monitor inventory and liaise with suppliers to order materials.
• Measure perspective projects and assist management in estimates.
• Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and quality finishes.

Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience as an Asbestos Abatement Specialist with experience working on residential, commercial and industrial sites.
• Asbestos Abatement Certification (BC) Level 3 mandatory
• First Aid Certificate
• Fall Protection Certified
• WHMIS Certification (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
• Respiratory Protection Training
• Hazardous Materials Awareness Training
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working on ladders or scaffolding as required.
• Fluent in English with the ability to speak and read for effective communication on site.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
