Cabinet Maker/Designer Job

Review drawings, plans, and specifications for furniture and cabinetry, or prepare detailed work specifications as required.
• Measure and mark layouts, cuts, and dimensions on wood and related materials.
• Set up and operate woodworking machinery such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, along with appropriate hand tools, to cut, shape, and form components.
• Fit, assemble, and secure parts and subassemblies into finished units using adhesives, clamps, screws, nails, or other fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and strength.
• Smooth and finish wood surfaces by sanding and applying veneer, stain, or polish to achieve the required appearance and quality.
• Repair, refurbish, or modify wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products as needed.
