Cabinet Maker Job

Job Duties include
• Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made, or prepare specifications
• Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints
• Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
• Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Estimate costs and materials
• Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components

Employment Requirements:
• The positions require an experience of 2-3 years as cabinetmaker and operating woodworking machines.
• High school education or equivalent experience and basic English is required.
• An ideal candidate should be accurate, organized, and must be a good team player.
• The incumbent should be capable of handling heavy loads (up to 50lbs).
• The position is physically demanding and requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate must have steel toed safety boots.

Terms of Employment:
The candidates are expected to be available for work for morning, daytime and late evenings. These are 2 full time (30-40 hours per week) and permanent positions with a salary of $25.00/Hour. The employer provides extended medical and dental benefits as well as group insurance benefits.
