Position: Cabinet Assembler and Wood Furniture Maker Foreman/woman
Employer: Oikos Design Cabinet Ltd.
Work Location: 70 & 71 -1833 Coast Meridian Rd, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 6G5
Business Address: Same as above
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $37.00 per hour
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation. Extended health benefits will be provided after 3 months of probation period.

Job Duties:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of cabinet assemblers and wood furniture makers, including cabinet and fixture assembly, woodworking machine operations, and finishing work to specified colour or finish
-Establish work methods and procedures to meet production schedules and coordinate cabinet production activities with other departments
-Troubleshoot production or quality issues in cabinet assembly and recommend corrective measures to improve productivity and product quality
-Requisition cabinet materials, hardware, and supplies and ensure adequate stock for production
-Train staff on cabinet assembly duties, safety procedures, and company policies
-Prepare production, quality, and other operational reports as required
Job Requirements:
-Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
-Experience: 2-3 years of work experience in a relevant field is required.
