The Buyer I is responsible for supporting daily purchasing activities, ensuring timely release and delivery of purchase orders for raw materials, components, and production support items. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, resolving procurement issues, managing SAP transactions, and supporting production requirements.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Release and manage purchase orders (POs) for raw materials, components, and production-related items.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
Resolve procurement-, quality-, invoice-, and inventory-related issues.
Perform necessary SAP transactions related to purchasing, inventory adjustments, and order processing.
Monitor part consumption behavior and analyze material usage trends.
Communicate with internal teams such as Production, Engineering, Customer Service, and Quality to support operational needs.
Coordinate with external suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
Assist with supplier follow-up to ensure on-time receipts and prevent material shortages.
Maintain documentation for procurement files and compliance requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain process.
📚 Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
0–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement.
Basic understanding of purchasing processes & inventory control.
Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or electronics industry.
Knowledge of quality and procurement documentation.
Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (Lean, 5S, Kaizen).
