Conditions:
 Job Title: Butcher (NOC 63201)
 Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week (Full time, Permanent position)
 Wage: $23.00 / hour (depending on skills and experience)
 Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary
 Number of Positions: 1

Requirements:
 Education: Completion of secondary school
 Necessary training will be provided
 Person with previous experience in a similar setting will be given priority, but experience is not a mandatory requirement
 Language: English
Job Duties:
• Cut, trim, and otherwise prepare standard cuts of meat for sale at self-serve counters or according to customers' orders
• Grind meats and slice meats using powered grinders and slicing machines
• Prepare special displays of beef, chicken, and pork
• Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats and poultry
• Wrap and package prepared meats and poultry
• Manage inventory, keep records of sales and determine amount, product line and freshness of products according to company and customer requirements
• Ensure food storage conditions are adequate
• Weigh meats for sale
• Working in a team or independently with little supervision
