About the company:
Today the Loblaw-owned Fortinos banner has 23 stores across the GTA. Our butchers offer a large selection of organic, all-natural and Halal meat, in addition to our complete line of traditional meat and poultry cuts.
We are looking for hard-working and reliable butcher to join our team!
-Cut, trim and prepare consumer-sized portions of meat for sale.
-Prepare and attractively display meat cuts and products on the display counter.
-Prepare standard cuts of meat and poultry.
-Use power machines to grind and slice meats.
-Wrap prepared meats and poultry. - Work with management to determine the amount and types of meat cuts to be prepared.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation policies.
-Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Job Requirements:
-Completion of High School (Preferred);
-2 years experience in a work-related environment;
-Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods of time;
-Attention to detail
and working well with others;
-Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
