Business Operations Specialist
The Immigration Professor — Davenport, IA
Develop, maintain, and implement business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures, utilizing CRM, case management, storage, and other software. Direct activities of the main and virtual offices of the firm in conjunction with the business owner. Interpret and implement company policies, and develop operating procedures to facilitate virtual office operations. Conduct management studies, collecting and interpreting economic and statistical data to prepare budget estimates, determine workload, personnel, and equipment requirements, and forecast future needs, including creating automations to optimize workflows. Work with the business owner and human resources manager to approve virtual office personnel assignments and requisition and installation of new equipment. Locate and appraise locations for proposed new office locations and negotiate lease agreements. Inspect virtual office installations and facilities to ensure that company service and operating standards are followed. Audit office accounts to optimize firm billing and verify accuracy and completeness of billing accounts and records. Direct online security measures for the protection of funds and personnel against injury and loss.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in any field, plus 12 months of experience in the job offered or in the related occupation of Law Office Customer Support.
