We are currently seeking a Business Development Officer to join our team in Toronto.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Work alongside the senior management to establish and direct strategical and tactical initiatives to meet the company’s objectives
• Evaluate the progress of the business development strategies
• Develop programs, plans and tools to increase business revenue
• Build a network of business contacts and leverage that network to identify, pursue and secure new opportunities essential to the company’s growth
• Provide the senior management with up-to-date market trends and ongoing analysis of the current business environment
• Plan and implement marketing campaigns to promote the company’s services
• Identify and develop new opportunities for business growth and improvement
• Prepare business development and other related reports on a regular basis
• Attend industry conferences and events to generate and nurture leads
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on business development experience in the IT sector with proven track record of business development success is a strong asset
• Fluent English
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively, as part of the team, with internal and external stakeholders
Terms & Conditions:
• Permanent, full time employment - 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $47.20 per hour. Overtime rate of 1 ½ of base pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week
