ABOUT VACANCY
At this time, we are looking for a Business Development Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a driven professional with sound business acumen and an excellent understanding of business development processes who enjoys developing new prospects and building long-term business relationships.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work alongside the senior management to establish and direct strategical and tactical initiatives to meet the company’s objectives
• Evaluate the progress of the business development strategies
• Identify and develop new opportunities for business growth and improvement
• Develop programs, plans and tools to increase sales and revenue
• Build a network of business contacts and leverage that network to identify, pursue and secure new opportunities essential to the company’s growth
• Perform market research and provide the senior management with up-to-date market trends and ongoing analysis of the current business environment
• Assist with the implementation of marketing campaigns to promote the company’s services
• Prepare business development and other related reports on a regular basis
• Attend industry events
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in business development with a proven track record of business development success is a strong asset
• Fluent English
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively, as part of the team, with internal and external stakeholders
WORK CONDITIONS
• Permanent, full-time position
• $46.20 per hour
• 35 hours of work per week
• Overtime pay ($69.30/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week
• Work location: 62 Railside Road, North York, ON M3A 1A3
