Job Description:
The Business Development Officer (BDO) will be responsible for driving the growth of the college's educational programs through strategic sales and marketing initiatives. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting the college’s programs to increase enrollment. This individual will work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns, manage partnerships, and optimize lead generation and conversion processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with schools, businesses, and other educational institutions.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet enrollment targets for various college programs.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, corporate clients, and academic partners.
Present college programs to prospective clients through meetings, presentations, and events.
Negotiate agreements and contracts with external organizations to establish new business avenues.
Marketing & Lead Generation:
Work with the marketing team to create compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, email campaigns, and online content to attract potential students.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to generate leads and increase program visibility.
Oversee digital marketing strategies such as SEO, PPC, social media campaigns, and website updates aimed at student recruitment.
Attend college fairs, conferences, and networking events to promote programs and engage with potential students.
Market Research & Strategy:
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for new programs or services.
Analyze competitor programs and sales strategies to stay ahead in the education sector.
Provide insights to senior management for program development based on market demand and student feedback.
Enrollment Support:
Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure smooth lead conversion and enrollment processes.
Assist in the development of promotional materials and support for recruitment campaigns.
Provide support and guidance to prospective students through the application process.
Reporting & Performance Metrics:
Track and report on sales and marketing campaign performance.
Measure KPIs such as lead generation, conversion rates, and program enrollments.
Prepare regular reports on activities, opportunities, and results for management.
