As a Business Development Intern, you’ll work alongside an experienced and supportive team while developing practical skills in B2B sales, prospecting, networking, customer relationship management, and business development.
Your responsibilities will include:
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Learn about clients’ business needs and recommend appropriate payment solutions.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals.
Communicate with business owners and key decision-makers to understand their goals.
Present payment processing solutions tailored to prospective clients.
Follow up with prospects and customers to provide excellent service and support.
Maintain accurate prospect and client information using CRM and database systems.
Stay updated on company products, services, and payment industry trends.
Work toward individual and team sales and business development goals.
?? Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who are:
Excellent communicators, both verbally and in writing.
Confident and comfortable communicating with business owners and decision-makers.
Strong in relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
Organized with strong time-management and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Familiar with Microsoft Office and CRM/database platforms.
Professional, positive, and customer-focused.
Previous sales, customer service, or business development experience is a plus, but not required.
Payment processing experience is helpful but not required.
