Business Development Engineer Job

A Business Development Engineer is needed in Auburn, Alabama.

• Coordinate sales engineering activities and part development operations in manufacturing various automotive fuel system components.
• Confer with customer’s in-house engineers to evaluate products’ engineering performance and standard, and to develop proposals for customers’ request in product development.
• Evaluate and analyze engineering requirements to improve sales strategies, and to identify new sales opportunities.
• Develop sales plans to introduce new technology and products to the existing market as well as in new market.
• Prepare technical presentation for proposals and respond to customer’s specific requirements.
• Provide technical support to current and prospective customers to assess needs of equipment or system upgrade.
• Provide engineering training to customers to ensure the product and related technology is positioned well within the customer’s product and system.
• Conduct extensive analysis, planning, and organization to eliminate sales obstacles.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 2 years of experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
