Job Description:
Bella Coola Valley Inn is located at 441 Mackenzie Street, (PO Box 949) Bella Coola, BC V0T 1C0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Building operator - maintenance (Inn & restaurant). If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Building operator - maintenance
Wage: CAD$35.00-38.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30~40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Perform general maintenance and daily inspection of the inn and the inn restaurant facilities
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, electrical systems and appliance of entire facilities
• Coordinate the preparation of the suites upon reservations
• Recommend specialized service and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Respond to requests from guests for minor repairs
• Perform safety and security checks and ensure the measures are in place
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• 2-3 years of maintenance experience required.
