Building Maintenance Worker - (Verified) Job

FIVE RIVERS FOODS INC. is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Building Maintenance Worker to join our team in Brampton, ON. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive hourly wage of $34.50 for 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will work on-site and must be available for various shifts, including days, evenings, mornings, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

Tasks:
1. Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
2. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
3. Perform minor repairs on appliances
4. Perform safety and security checks
5. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
6. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
7. Ensure adherence to safety regulations

Qualifications:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and sound judgment.

Strong organizational skills and reliability.

Workplace Information:

Work must be completed on-site with no remote work option available.
