Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 35 to 40 hours per Week
Employment Conditions: Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Shift, Weekend
Start date: as soon as possible

Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort, Restaurant
Tasks:
Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
Perform minor repairs on appliances
Perform safety and security checks
Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Carpet cleaning machine, Steam cleaners, Power lawn mowers, Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments), Snowblower
