Building Inspector Plan Reviewer Job

Conducts on-site inspections at various locations throughout the Township to
ensure full compliance with state and local building codes for new construction,
additions and alterations with plans approved by the Building department. Assist
contractors and the general public with information regarding construction and
building code related matters.

Basic Qualifications
* High school diploma (or equivalent) and additional coursework in
building construction and general computer skills.
* Four years’ experience in the building trades or four years as an active
licensed builder or any journeyman/master’s license in the building
trades.
* Act 54 certification – Building Inspector/Plan Examiner REQUIRED
