Building Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job

All Island Equity REIT LP is looking for a full time Building Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor at 450A Wentworth Street, Nanaimo BC V9R 3E1 Canada. There is 1 position available.

Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty, industrial or specialized cleaners and janitors
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
• Hire and train cleaning staff
• Prepare work schedule and co-ordinate activities with those of other departments
• Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records
• Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
• May perform certain cleaning duties.

Yearly salary is $61,210 for 34 working hours/week (overtime pay after 40 hours). Successful candidate must speak English and have completed high school. Minimum work experience is 2 years hands on experience.
