Bookkeeper Job

SB2 Enterprise Ltd. dba Longhorn Pub located at 4513 – 25th Avenue, Vernon BC V1T 1P5 is hiring a bookkeeper for a full-time and permanent position.

Salary: $29.00 / Hour for 30 to 40 Hours / Week

Job Requirements:

Languages: English
Education: Minimum one year certificate or diploma in the related field is required
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as Bookkeeper is required

Tasks
• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts
