Bookkeeper Job

• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Reconcile accounts
• Record and balance daily transactions
• Manage accounts payable
• Balance cash and record sales
• Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
• Handle cash transactions. Prepare bank deposits.
• Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements

Salary: $20.00 hourly
Permanent employment, Full time / 30 to 40 hours per Week
Education: Certificate in Bookkeeping/Accounting OR equivalent education paired with work experience.
Experience: 7 months to one year of experience.
Language: Basic English, Ability to Speak Cantonese and Mandarin an asset
Shifts: Day, Flexible Hours may be required.
